Quick question i have my first jab Friday when i booked it there was no option to book the second one,

When the wife booked her first she could book her second one at the same time whats your experience please.

Booked my first last Friday for Sunday and booked my second for June at the same time.

I got text off doctors inviting me to book first jab, when I had jab they said they would be back in touch to book second jab

Had my jab Saturday 20th gone got a card and that was dated for another appointment 5th June did you get a scan code slip if so it's on the bottom right also wife said you might get a message by phone or letter

No Mike i haven't had nothing yet i will ask the question when i go Friday i was wondering what the procedure was as mentioned in my first post some get to book both jabs at the same time some dont.

I just booked both online with NHS website at the same time. My Dr's said it could be another month or 2 before there could do it so just to use the website.

Yep that’s right.
Originally I booked both of my jabs on the NHS Website that I had to go to Knareborough for but then got a text off my Doctor that allowed me to go three weeks earlier and also at Ripon so I took that option. I did ring the number on the back of the letter I got from the NHS and cancel the two I’d booked at Knaresborough.

Thanks all that about clears it up i thought i might have missed out on booking my second jab but it looks normal in some situations that you get your second date at a later date.

It seems to be different depending on where you get you jag.
I got my first AZ back in January but no date for second one.
All appointments by text but my missus had her first appointment and AZ jag last week by letter and it also booked in her second at same time.
Got my second jag notification on Monday by text but cant book as no Vaccine available so have to wait.

I booked mine online and booked them both at the same time. I had the Oxford AZ vaccine but it is OK, it is safe according to this study in to the possible side effects.

Both me and the wife got our first jab on Friday 15th January and we were told that we would get a phone call from our doctors within in the approaching 12th week time scale for the 2nd and final jab, so if worried just ask the nurse doing the paper work has she got any indication when you can expect the 2nd jab, it is now 10 weeks since our first jab so not much more waiting.
When me and the wife got our vaccination we were overwhelmed with relief that we were getting protection from the death threat.
I am very saddened at the rebellious puddled few who still believe that the pandemic is a hoax and think that the 126,000 dead from the virus here in the UK don't exist, worldwide there has been up to 2,740,000 ( 2.74 Million ) deaths, here in the UK we have had 29,000,000 vaccinations and all of this number are believers and can't be brainwashed by the intoxicated few.

Same here Randy just waiting for more vaccine so I can book my second one.
Unfortunately due to many not going to get the Jag, Chris Whitty commented this week that we can expect additional 30k more deaths each winter due to the failures of these minorities not getting the protection from Covid

Thanks Randy my issue was i thought i made a mistake while booking but i haven't, and yes your right it will be a relief once ive had the jab and got a few weeks under my belt i will still go about my day to day life with caution after the jab but piece of mind i have some protection,

My wife had her first jab (NHS worker) 25th Jan and her second one tomorrow ,

My first jab was Pfizer, but talking to a nurse last week, she said they were only using Astrazeneca henceforth, due to the storage difficulty with Pfizer. Not fussed which they administer tbh.

Nurse said to me that the Pfizer ones are only being used at Hospital Hubs
