That’s probably because they have to be stored at very low temperature, unlike the AZ one.
I think it has to be stored at -70 Bob so makes sense for only hospitals to have it, my wife as just had her second pfizer

yesterday, I got letter from NHS inviting me to book my first jab, I had it two weeks ago so it looks like some records are not being updated,? not complaining mind nhs are doing a great job
I had another text from NHSvaccine saying book my jab if ive already booked it please ignore.

Covid passport: Pubs could ask customers to show proof of vaccination upon entry

Some of the younger ones refusing the vaccine might change there mind if this comes in

It seems like you get a call from your own doctor and a letter from the NHS themselves. If you book via your doctor you can normally only book the 1st jab but book via the NHS website, you get the option to book both at the same time. Not sure about if you book via 119.

At some point they announce that if you have not had you 1st offer (or have but refused) you can phone and ask. You can if in cohort 1-4 but I've not heard if you can if in cohort 5-9 as yet.

They are trying to make sure everyone gets offered.

My wife had hers and had a painful arm for 4 days or more, still has a mark left from the neddle (look at her the wrong way & se get a big bruise lol).

Me on the other hand never felt a thing.

They stuck a ruddy great needle into my AC joint where there is supposed to be a space but due to arthritis its almost fused.
Then they broke up the calcium deposit then injected steroid.
Now booked in for op to clear it out and deburr the end of the collar bone by 5mm.
More than a few kin-ells were said as they did it :(

Good luck with the clean out, I’ve had two clean outs on my left knee, the last one was ten years ago and it worked a treat.
