Went detecting today but!

So I set off with good intentions and spent an hour in one field but it wasn’t kind to me so I decided to call in at one of my owners homes to say hello.
I had my camera with me and asked if I could take some photos of a bronze sculpture he has in his pond.
He said help yourself and asked if I’d take some of his house and the coach house.
Here’s a few of them, not a bad spot to live is it.

Yes, not a bad spot and he’s a lovely bloke. I’ve been inside lots of times, the kitchen is bigger than all of the rooms in my house.

I don’t know, I’ll ask him next time I see him.
It’s got a stream coming into it and the outlet is a small weir so maybe it has.

He has, old family money. He took over the Estate from his father when he was forty as that’s how the family trust works but he’s a really nice guy and one of the few that allows me to detect on growing crops.
The downside is the land around his house, couple of hundred acres, isn’t very productive but he has other land that I’ve yet to go on.

I’m going on the other land sometime, I just need a map of what he has showing the boundaries or maybe he’ll have a ride up there with me, he did it with the land around his home.

It’s not very good land, that’s my excuse anyway and I’m enjoying my photography more than detecting at the moment.

My finds haven't been brilliant recently but i am enjoying these fields ive never ventured in the odd bit is turning up and a change of scenery,

If your enjoying your photography keep at it Bob it looks like your more talented at it than detecting Wayne's after Deus sell up and donate your land to him he always did well on your land with that toy he used with a proper machine he will smash it

I could go over Bob's land with a Tandy kids detector and pull something good. I don't know why he struggles so much

I wouldn't of gone without you mate. I'm not that way out. Besides I know its potential and if you put the effort in rather than thinking finds are gonna jump out at you then you might have a productive site.

Love a bit of banter and hopefully pushes my mate Bob to find something on his next outing.
Only motivation I need at the moment is to get some exercise and drop a stone of lock down weight
Snow on my car and grass when I got up.
