It's working fine mate. Was out scouting a new permission yesterday. My dad had his first ever crotal bell I had musket balls lead tokens a few Scottish copper hammered a number of partifacts.
Old pasture with a lot of history so we scoped out the fields just sampling as we went 14 fields briefly looked at and too tired to check the other 10 but hopefully back there tomorrow.

Well done to your dad on the bell,

Sounds like you have a fair few fields to go at, the item looks like a post medievil horse pendant ?.

I'm still getting out Dave and finding all of the Roman, Saxon & Medieval goodies but over the past year being imprisoned with the lockdown hasn't helped with this tragic getting older, 79 this year but since the rules have opened up a bit I have had some great sessions. Finds for 13th April I had 9 Roman bronzies and 3 hammered cut halves all with the Minelab Equinox 800, then back out on Sunday 18th April and I had to take the Deus as I had forgot to put the Equinox on charge and couldn't risk being without power half way through the day and although I was detecting in the hotspot I only managed 3 Roman bronzies, then I was back out yesterday Sunday 25th April and I had a canny day back in the hotspot with the Equinox I had 11 Roman bronzies one of which has been gold plated in the past and another 3 hammered cut halves and a hammered silver farthing even though this field is rich in Roman habitation it has seen a hell of a lot of Medieval activity I think it has been a Medieval Fair site with all of the cut halves and cut quarters it produces, for you Dave yesterdays finds below.

All Uncleaned Finds.
