Hope you found something good , best way is stick to the dry or drop the sensitivity on the wet

Blooming heck, never realised how unfit I am, walked about a mile there and back, kept to the dry sand, mainly trying out different settings, found a grand total of 2p.
But it was more about the practice than the finds, will get out again over the weekend, if anyone local is popping down to Redcar seafront Sat or Sun and wouldn't mind a newbie tagging along please get in touch.

Hi Kev, me and Andy had a go at redcar last week we got a few coins, my best was a 1911 George V sixpence at high water mark and a 1873 young vicky sixpence at low water, but the sand is moving back in, we need a good storm, I not at the beach this weekend, we always find coins at the top of the beach with small coils on, and searching among the iron, but you need to go slow _20190913_161431.JPG

Thanks for that, I saw your pictures earlier in the week, great haul, do you recommend a particular spot or doesn't it matter I walked from Majuba carpark towards the South Gare and back when I was out on Tuesday, will definitely take it slow.
Will still be popping down Sat/Sun despite the sand, as it's all practice with the settings tones etc.

Hi Kev , i have had a lot of predecimals in front of the sand dunes at Majuba, but on the wet sand, and deep, our last dig was around the old picture house near the town centre, the vicky came from low water mark down from the cinema, were the clay was showing,
